Overview
Kim, In (born 1968) is a distinguished South Korean artist whose work challenges traditional compositional structures through repetitive patterns of everyday imagery. His unique approach involves filling the canvas by replicating completed images, creating a fragmented yet cohesive visual experience that invites viewers to engage with the work both as a whole and in parts. Since his debut solo exhibition at Dong-A Art Museum in 1990, Kim In has held numerous exhibitions in Korea and internationally, with his works featured in collections such as the Saatchi Gallery in London, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, and the Daejeon Museum of Art.
