Overview
Chiara Valentini (b. 1981) is an Italian artist whose work primarily focuses on sculpture and installation. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, her artistic exploration is deeply rooted in the materiality of her chosen mediums. Valentini’s work often intertwines traditional sculpture with textiles, creating pieces that reflect introspective themes and transform materials into expressive forms. Beyond her artistic practice, she has gained diverse experiences in teaching, design, audiovisuals, and cultural event organization. Currently, she teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and Bologna, previously holding a position as a Professor of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata.
